Multi Factor Authentication

From May 2026, multi-factor authentication will be available on your Kent Homechoice account.

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of security to your account by asking you for a second form of verification in addition to your password. This can help prevent unauthorised access to your account if your password is compromised.

When you log into your portal, you will see a new option of 'change your security settings'. If you select this option, it will show you a screen where you can enable either email verification or an authenticator app. If you select the authenticator app, you will need to have ensured that you have an authenticator app available on your smart phone so that you can be sent the code. If you select email then a code will be sent to your email each time you log into your Kent Homechoice account.
